Celebrating Lila’s Legacy: Charity Football Day to support Pitt-Hopkins UK
Mark and his family are hosting a charity football day at their home in loving memory of their cherished daughter, Lila. This event provides a chance for people of all ages to come together, enjoy quality time with family, create lasting memories, and raise funds for the deserving charity, Pitt-Hopkins.

More about Pitt Hopkins UK:
Pitt Hopkins UK is dedicated to raising awareness of Pitt-Hopkins syndrome (PTHS) and supporting families affected by this ultra-rare neurodevelopmental condition. Since becoming a registered charity in May 2016, Pitt Hopkins UK has worked tirelessly to inform health professionals about PTHS and to offer essential support to both children and adults living with the syndrome.
PTHS causes delayed motor development and significant intellectual disability, with affected individuals often being non-verbal, experiencing severe constipation, reflux, and seizures, along with other symptoms like daytime apnoea and hyper breathing. The charity aims to increase recognition of PTHS among medical practitioners, connect with parents through social media, and fund research into the condition's impact on breathing anomalies and the autonomic system.
