Empowering Rescues, Building Hope: Charlie Froud Foundation
Raising money in support of search and rescue services and other good causes.
The Charlie Froud Foundation was established in memory of Charlie, a 14-year-old boy who tragically died in a light aircraft crash in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland in October 2008. Since then, the foundation has evolved into a registered charity supporting The Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue team, who tirelessly located the crash site and assisted in the recovery, along with various local causes.
Their missions are:
- To keep Charlie’s memory alive in a positive way
- To bring people together
- To raise money for good causes
They take pride in bringing people together through events and challenges to honour Charlie's memory and support their community.
