AGS Denali Expedition 2024: Scaling New Heights

Empowering lives, one summit at a time. Mike, David and Stuart are embarking on a three week journey to Alaska to summit Mt. Denali.

After 12 months of intensive training, Mike, David & Stuart are embarking on a three-week journey to Alaska. Their mission is to summit Mt. Denali, standing at a staggering 6,190 meters (20,310 feet), the highest peak in North America. Alaska's reputation as one of the coldest regions on the planet, with temperatures dropping to -45°C and nearly constant daylight for up to 22 hours a day during this season, poses an extreme challenge. They will traverse through harsh conditions, pulling individual sleds initially before transitioning to packs as they ascend the final stages of Denali. Without the aid of Sherpas, they will camp in tents, emphasising teamwork as they strive for success, particularly crucial as the beneficiaries all carry injuries related to military service.

The goal of this challenge is to raise funds for the AGS Foundation, supporting more injured individuals in their rehabilitation through outdoor activities. With the expedition promising to push them to their limits, any form of support is greatly appreciated as they navigate through the trials ahead.
