Heidi's Heroes: Empowering Lives with Support, Care, and Courage When It Matters Most

They provide practical help and advice to those with cancer and their families; to support the bereaved and give disadvantaged children the courage and opportunity to learn a potentially life-saving skill – swimming.

Heidi's Heroes are a Cheltenham-based charity that provides practical support, care and courage to people of all ages across Gloucestershire when they need it most.

In a tribute to the late Heidi, an international swimmer who battled breast cancer, Heidi's Heroes honour her legacy by dedicating their resources to giving disadvantaged children the courage and opportunity to acquire a potentially life-saving skill—swimming.

At the heart of their efforts are their core objectives that embody their commitment to making a tangible impact in the lives of those facing cancer and its aftermath. They strive to provide practical help and invaluable advice to individuals grappling with cancer and their families, offering a supportive network during challenging times. Additionally, they extend their outreach to support the bereaved, recognising the profound impact of loss and offering solace through our initiatives.
