Brian’s Nocturnal Hopscotch Ultramarathon
Imagine the grit and determination it takes to run a grueling ultramarathon. Now imagine facing that same endurance test on a continuous 5km loop of mixed, undulating terrain—for six hours—at night, in complete darkness, under the unpredictable skies of Scotland in November. This is the daunting challenge being undertaken to raise vital funds for Hopscotch Children's Charity.
Despite the financial pressures many of us face, any contribution is deeply appreciated and will have a direct impact on young lives in need of support. Every donation counts toward ensuring Hopscotch Children's Charity can continue their crucial work. More about Hopscotch:
Hopscotch has spent 25 years supporting young carers and children in challenging circumstances across Scotland by offering them much-needed respite breaks. These experiences allow children who have had to grow up too fast to escape daily pressures, connect with others facing similar situations, make friends, and create memories that remind them they are not alone. For many, this is a chance to experience the joy and freedom of childhood, which they often miss out on due to family caregiving responsibilities.
